Who We Are

The North Carolina Friends Disaster Service is a service organization supported by North Carolina Quakers. It is an outreach of North Carolina Yearly Meeting, Inc. (FUM) of the Religious Society of Friends. The NCFDS welcomes all volunteers.

Our Mission

• To provide assistance to fellow human beings who are victimized by trouble or disaster as resources are available.

• To provide labor, equipment and materials for rebuilding and restoring victims’ homes and property.

• Demonstrate the love of Christ in such a way that others might seek Him as Lord.
