This is a full-time pastor position. The pastor reports to and is subject to the oversight of Ministry & Counsel. The pastor is primarily responsible for the spiritual well-being and growth of the whole church and its prospective members. Bi-vocational applicants are encouraged to apply.

Seeking Part-Time Director of Student Ministries

Overview
This is a part-time (15–20 hours per week) Director of Student Ministries (“Director”) position. The Director reports to the Christian Education Committee. The Director is responsible for providing spiritual leadership, mentorship, and support to the school-aged children (K–12) of Deep Creek Friends Meeting. This position will involve fostering a welcoming environment for young people to grow in their Christian faith and to become committed followers of Jesus Christ who participate in worship, fellowship, and discipleship.

Seeking Full-Time Pastor
Bethel Friends Meeting
Seeking: Pastor opening
We are a small, but active meeting. Our average attendance for morning worship is between 35 and 40. Our USFW attendance is around 14 ladies for each of our monthly breakfast meetings. The USFW is very involved in community and mission projects. Our Quaker Men meeting once a month for breakfast, fellowship and devotions.
​
Our meeting serves 1000+ people at our pig picking fundraisers in April and October each year. We also have various other activities that reach out into our community.
We want our pastor to participate in our meeting activities.
We want our pastor to lead us in studying God's word, reaching other for Christ and helping us to grow in our own walk with Christ. We want a pastor who will care for our meeting as we will care for them, with love, compassion and concern.
We want them to be a close part of our Bethel Family.

Responsibilities are as follows:

Plan and schedule regular meetings for times to develop spiritually.

Encourage participation in regular church business and meetings for worship through active participation and scheduled events.

Develop or purchase devotional material for group studies that is relevant, timely and Biblically sound.

Plan and develop trips to encourage fellowship, teamwork, and spiritual growth. Examples might be weekend trips to the beach, mountains, lake or snow skiing.

Encourage missionary concern and activity through work with Mission groups offering summer, weeklong, practical hands-on opportunities.
